2019 Term Classes | Rose Bay & Blue Mountains
Advancing Teaching Practice
My teaching approach has evolved over many years and most recently I was inspired on a trip to Seville and Berlin last July, where I was exposed to some new techniques by leading Flamenco teacher-dancers in Spain. I will introduce some of these into the Adults Technique and Choreography classes in 2019.
Extended classes will offer broader approaches to dance and movement, exploring release through deeper listening to breath, moving with greater spatial awareness and tapping into Flamenco palos that allow different emotional states to surface, which is essential for Flamenco dancers.
