If there is no book or map, how do we get there?
Uncharted Waters is an upcoming art exhibition showcasing the Mother Tongue® journey, and narrating the process of generating a rigorous intercultural arts practice. Photos, designs, audio and archival videos, model displays will uncover the working processes and tell the story of Mother Tongue’s® long evolution.
What is the negotiation that gets us to the final work? What makes the cut and what ends up on the editorial floor?
This inaugural exhibition will provide insights into the creative processes. While exploring the history, it will examine the elements of all aspects of what makes this work soar. Biomimicry within the choreography, mathematics and rhythmic scores and how they produced the ‘DNA’ of the work will help understand how the ancient dance and rhythms were combined with the sacred geometries in the designing of each act and the development of cutting-edge technology.
