FLAMENCO FOR EVERYBODY
MICRO TOURS
WESTERN RIVERINA ▪️ OUTBACK NSW
MARCH 3 - APRIL 12 2025
SHOW SYNOPSIS
Organically grown during Covid-19 lockdowns, Annalouise was determined to dance. She found a community hall with a veranda to practice on for the entire eleven months. When the second lockdown happened she went to the local wharf. Joggers, boaties, dogs and school children were intrigued and one a little boy on a scooter who asked, ‘Are you making a show? For everybody?’
Flamenco for Everybody is an exhilarating theatrical experience that opens with Annalouise’s story and unfolds into a full live concert of languid Flamenco guitar, Spanish songs, poetry, high-energy percussion, contemporary-flamenco dance and evocative sound design.
This Australian story is seamlessly woven, deeply emotional and energising. A brave show that shares its resilience with communities everywhere. It is the very spirit of this dance and music that uplifts and heals. You’ll love to listen but by the end, you’ll want to get up and dance!

What are Micro Tours? Being in a place longer deepens the engagement for the work and allows us to immerse in that place and really get to know our audiences. It’s a sustainable model innovated by Annalouise Paul. Sensibly managing Australia’s long distances, whilst supporting the creatives and partners alike.
